Psychodynamic therapy can help you disentangle deep rooted thoughts and emotions that could be holding you back in life. By making the unconscious elements of your life a part of your present experience, psychodynamic therapy can help you understand how behaviour and frame of mind can influence unresolved issues.
Aasma is an experienced psychodynamic therapist offering individual counselling. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk freely about your issues. She believes a trusting, genuine therapeutic relationship can play an important part when facilitating change. She will offer you a space to grow, develop your self-awareness and consider insights which may help you cope with the difficulties and challenges life throws our way.
Over the years Aasma has worked with a range of clients at different life stages, from adolescents to the elderly. She also has experience in working with Alzheimer’s.
Some of the issues Aasma has worked with include:
- Self harm/suicidal thoughts
- Bereavement and loss

- Relationship difficulties
- Depression and anxiety
- Work related issues
- Family issues
