Sarah is an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist from America. Sarah received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a specialisation in Holistic Counseling and Psychotherapy in 2010. In alignment with training in America, Sarah works in an integrative way, incorporating various modalities of therapy to meet each of her client’s unique needs and goals for therapy.
Sarah believes that there are many ways our current experiences can be explored in therapy. This may be through a person’s feelings, behaviours, thoughts, physical experience and spirituality. She values an individual’s autonomy and works in a collaborative and respectful way, empowering an individual to set and work towards reaching their goals. Sarah has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with addiction. Her experience in America includes providing individual and group therapy for adults with co-occurring disorders, individuals diagnosed with major mental illness and substance use disorders.
Sarah strives to make an individual feel completely safe, comfortable and accepted for where they are in the present moment. She does this by being completely present for her clients and creating a relationship based on trust.
Sarah can provide assessments and therapy for issues including but not limited to:
- Depression and low mood
- Eating Disorders
- Co-occurring Disorders
- Relationship Issues
Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling, Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy Specialisation from Lesley University. Sarah is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adheres to their ethical guidelines.
Additional qualifications and trainings include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, 8-week Mindfulness-based stress reduction course, Working with Shame and Suicide Prevention training (ASIST).

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact Sarah as soon as possible. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If you arrive late for your appointment, it will still have to end at the usual time.
