Susan Boland

photoSusan offers a warm, compassionate place to explore your thoughts, behaviours and emotions.  She works from a person-centred perspective and will be alongside you every step of the way as you move towards improved self-awareness.

Susan has worked as a person-centred therapist for 12 years, both in private practice and as a volunteer counsellor. She also has ten years’ experience of working within an EAP setting as a Case Manager and regularly provides Psychological First Aid, usually within a workplace setting.

She has worked with clients with a wide range of issues and her main interests are in working with

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • work-related stress
  • relationship issues
  • communication
  • self-esteem
  • health anxiety
  • loss

Susan works with individuals and couples. She has a COSCA counselling certificate from Glasgow Caledonian University and gained her Post Graduate Diploma from Persona Counselling, affiliated to Stirling University.  She continues her professional development by regularly attending workshops and conferences and works and abides by the BACP code of ethics.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact Susan as soon as possible. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, will be charged in full. If you arrive late for your appointment, it will still have to end at the usual time.
