Susan adheres to confidentiality and provides a safe, sensitive and warm environment where clients are encouraged and empowered to explore difficult issues, with the aim of helping them move into a more fulfilled future.
Susan has worked extensively with clients and their siblings who have experienced abuse in their lives. She has a wide range of experience working with children with special needs and also supporting individuals in the family.
Susan also has extensive expertise in supporting people with work-related issues through their company’s employment assistance programmes.
Amongst other issues, she can help with:
- Abuse – emotional, physical or sexual
- Relationship issues
- Parenting issues
- Separation or divorce
- Work-related stress
Susan is a person-centred counsellor who enables people to embrace change and to look at life with new-found confidence. She is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works within their code of ethics. Prior to achieving her Diploma in Counselling at Strathclyde University, she worked in the caring professions for over 25 years in both Canada and Scotland.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact Susan as soon as possible. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If you arrive late for your appointment it will still have to end at the usual time.
